Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or currently attending a university program in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work at remote sites.
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Ability to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain.
• Capability to work outdoors in heat for up to 8 - 12 hours per day.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent driving record within company standards.
• Pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections of heavy earthwork projects.
• Monitor earthen dam embankment construction.
• Oversee phosphogypsum stack expansion and closure construction.
• Perform drain/pipe installation and backfill inspections.
• Conduct soil density testing and geosynthetic liner installation monitoring.
• Collect concrete samples and perform testing.
• Execute miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing.
