About The Position

The Field Application Scientist (FAS) at Bio-Techne is responsible for providing on-field support for pre-and post-sales activities, focusing on customer engagement and technical support. This role involves training customers, developing unique applications, and presenting the company's innovative technology in spatial biology. The FAS will work closely with various teams to ensure high-quality support and drive the adoption of Lunaphore's products in the market.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Biology, Life Sciences, Bioengineering, Medicine, or a similar field.
• At least 3 years of commercial field applications experience in the life science environment, or a strong Ph.D. scientist with a desire to travel and support customers.
• Experience in in-situ techniques such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and in-situ hybridization is a strong plus.
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment and confidence in testing assays independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers in instrument operation and application development.
• Train and support customers in operating instruments and implementing unique assays.
• Attend conferences and customer meetings to present company products and applications.
• Investigate customer problems and develop effective solutions.
• Understand all technical aspects of the device hardware and applications.
• Run staining assays and evaluate stained tissues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and R&D to address customer needs.
• Document customer feedback and experiences through detailed reports and presentations.
• Help define customer requirements for new products and applications.
• Drive for results by achieving goals and completing tasks by deadlines.
