About The Position

Lynx Transport Inc. is seeking both Full-Time and Part-Time FedEx Delivery Drivers in Savannah, GA. The role involves operating box trucks to deliver packages to local residences and businesses, requiring physical stamina to handle heavy packages and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 150 pounds, on a regular basis
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers
• Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems

Responsibilities

• Arrive at FedEx terminal to pick up vehicle and packages between 8:00 AM- 8:30 AM
• Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes or businesses
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring packages are secure
• Follow delivery routes and schedules provided by the company
• Provide excellent customer service, including friendly interactions and timely deliveries
• Use handheld devices to track deliveries and update delivery status
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
