About the position
Juno Medical is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Tulsa. This role will involve providing exceptional care for patients of all ages, including women's health, wellness services, physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment, and counseling. The Nurse Practitioner will also collaborate with other teams to develop innovative tools and services, drive ongoing improvement of the clinical model, and promote collaboration among healthcare professionals. The minimum requirements for this position include at least four years of experience in outpatient family medicine or primary care, basic gynecological care experience, and relevant licensure and registrations.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care for patients, members, and the community, including women's health, wellness services, physical examinations, diagnosis and treatment, and counseling patients of all ages on their general health and well-being
- Order and interpret x-rays, lab results, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests
- Collaborate with the Clinical Operations and Engineering teams to inform the development of innovative tools and services for communication, decision support, and documentation
- Drive ongoing iteration of the clinical model based on problem-solving and knowledge gained from workshops, conferences, and literature review
- Promote collaboration between other specialist care physicians and advanced practice clinicians by ensuring patient care plan awareness across key team members
- Minimum Requirements:
- At least four years of experience in an outpatient family medicine, primary care, urgent care, or similar setting
- Experience with basic gynecological care
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Oklahoma State License
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration (within 6 months of start date)
- Ability to regularly work 40 hours a week
- High degree of comfort using tools such as iPads for charting and HIPAA secure messaging apps for care coordination
