Requirements

  • Commerce Graduate, Qualified Accountant (CA / CMA or equivalent), MBA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance function with minimum 5 years in Finance leadership role at a manufacturing site.
  • Minimum of three years directly managing/supervising teams.
  • Current work experience within a global pharmaceutical manufacturing setting, preferably in generic pharma.
  • Current experience in the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) organization.
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
  • Working knowledge and user proficiency of SAP modules required.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Exposure to Finance controllership & Corporate Governance.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS framework, AS & taxation rules & regulations (Both India & US).
  • Good presentation & Communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to InvaGen’s Finance function through effective forecasting, planning, budgeting and managing of financial resources.
  • Supervise a team of four Finance professionals.
  • Set up various policies & processes ensuring adherence to GAAP & Accounting standards.
  • Monitor expenses & processes to ensure financial discipline & controls.
  • Regular PO approval, Expense & Payment approval.
  • Manage Funds and coordinate with Treasury & Banking relationship.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
  • Control Inventory & Fixed Assets.
  • Prepare Business case & evaluation for various projects & investment proposals.
  • Evaluate Capital Expense proposals and approvals.
  • Support Product costing & COGs monitoring.
  • Negotiate leases with Property managers & landlords.
  • Prepare OPEX & CAPEX Budget.
  • Review & report ‘Budget Vs Actual’ to ensure appropriate Budgetary controls.
  • Perform Secretarial practices in coordination with Corporate CS team.
  • Coordinate with Corporate Secretariat team for Conducting Board meetings.
  • Ensure corporate governance practices to strengthen Internal controls.
  • Coordinate Internal & Statutory Audits.
  • Support new project evaluation and Capital Budgeting for potential project investments.
  • Prepare periodic closing & Financial reports for Exelan Inc.
