About The Position

The F-22 Repair and Modification Electrical Technician position is a contract role within Boeing Global Services, focused on the F-22 program at Nellis AFB, NV. The technician will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace vehicle components, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong background in aircraft maintenance and the ability to work under general direction while overseeing training and documentation processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance.
  • Install, route, and terminate wire harnesses.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15).
  • Security Clearance within the past 2 years.
  • Modification experience.
  • Experience handling, installing, and testing fiber optics.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components.
  • Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul of aerospace vehicles.
  • Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
  • Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
  • Oversees training and works under general direction.
