The Expert Program Specialist - PSPS Access and Functional Needs (AFN) will assist in maintaining and improving processes related to PG&E's wildfire risk reduction activities, specifically the Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS). This role involves supporting program development, implementation, and enhancements, ensuring accurate reporting on metrics, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. The position also includes educating community-based organizations (CBOs) about wildfire risks and PG&E's initiatives, contributing to strategic plans, and supporting data collection for regulatory and internal goals.

  • Support data collection for AFN Program Manager's report to stakeholders on PSPS Affinity Outreach.
  • Support contract renewal and training of CBO partners to meet wildfire risk reduction goals.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the AFN Situation Room EOC.
  • Partner with legal and regulatory teams to provide responses and testimony in wildfire-related proceedings.
  • Assist in the Annual AFN Plan and quarterly data collection across Lines of Business.
  • Manage PSPS Affinity Outreach projects, ensuring quality in processes and analytics.
  • Track benchmarking engagements with other utilities and partners.
  • Participate in advisory committees and incorporate community suggestions.
  • Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Support customer elements of PSPS/All Hazards program.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for EOC team progress.
  • Track customer engagement and satisfaction related to PSPS operations.
  • Partner with PSPS Customer Outreach Strategist to develop outreach materials.
  • Enhance CBO relationships through meetings and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with sourcing to streamline resource partner agreements.
  • Perform emergency response duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of experience in program management, project management, customer outreach, or account management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Program Management
  • Ability to influence leaders through data analysis and insights
  • Experience supporting large, complex projects with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to create compelling business cases
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities
