About The Position

The Expert Community Coordinator at GigaParts is responsible for leading and developing the Community Expert program, which connects customers with the company's product line. This role involves community building, grassroots marketing, and fostering a collaborative environment for experts to share their knowledge through events and workshops. The coordinator will also manage recruiting efforts, training, and documentation to ensure the program's success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Community Expert program, including training policies and processes for the overall team.
  • Track system for category-based knowledge scoring and documentation of training development.
  • Manage the incentives program and other necessary tools for the success of the overall program.
  • Lead recruiting efforts for the Community Expert Program through proactive recruiting and hosting in-store expert fairs.
  • Attend off-site recruiting events to attract potential Community Experts.
  • Develop and maintain the Discourse platform chat community.
  • Partner with Marketing and In-Store Leadership to support the online presence of the Expert Program.
  • Schedule and track Community Experts for events and workshops.
  • Execute processes and policies for the Expert Program, maintaining documentation on training and category advancements.
  • Collaborate with Store Manager and HR in building, training, and executing the program.
  • Foster a community-driven environment for Experts to host events, workshops, and demos regularly.
  • Support the execution of promotional events in-store and manage expert availability for classes and workshops.
  • Act as a company representative at local events to support marketing efforts of the expert program and the store.
