About The Position

Partners for the Common Good (“Partners”) is a national community development finance organization that operates a family of companies with a common mission to advance economic justice by partnering with and strengthening mission focused to bring capital, create opportunity, and build wealth for low-income people and communities. Partners operates the following entities: PCG Loan Fund (PCG) - PCG is a national CDFI lending network with local impact focused on affordable housing and community facilities finance. Community Development Bankers Association -- CDBA is the national trade association for the CDFI, MDI and mission focused banking sector and advocates for the industry and communities they serve, CapNexus - is a community development finance and industry networking and information sharing platform. Our work is pioneering in its creation of new tools and infrastructure for community development finance organizations to manage portfolios and grow their scale and impact. As industry experts, Partners provides opportunities for capacity building, tailored financial services, impact measurement, and public policy advocacy to our network. Our unique business model is driven by the partnerships within our network of CDFI's that provide impactful capital to communities across the United States. Partner's office and the position is located in Washington DC.

Requirements

• Very strong organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and efficiently manage multiple projects
• Must be a self-starter with keen attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to meet changing priorities
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Good written communication skills
• Discretion and judgement in handling sensitive information
• Knowledge of office management, procedures, and policies
• Must possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience managing contact management databases; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred) or a high school diploma (or GED) and at least 8 years of prior experience as an executive assistant or in a similar administrative role.
• Willingness to work from Partners' physical office for a minimum of three days each week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain calendar for CEO: Schedule Appointments, Arrange Internal and External Meetings
• Manage the scheduling of all Board and Committee Meetings
• Manage master calendar for organization
• Manage all meeting logistics, including meeting materials and supplies, travel accommodations, catering, and event space.
• Recording meeting minutes and manage communications with Board and committee members
• Schedule and coordinate travel for CEO and senior management team
• Create correspondence, proofread, and manage documents, as needed, for CEO
• Prepare and edit documents, including expense reports, invoices, presentations
• Assist with a variety of office management duties, including managing office supplies, management of digital records, maintaining CRM, supports the CEO and CFO on special projects
• Assist with sensitive human resource and employee information
• Manage rotating schedule of kitchen duties
• Maintain kitchen and office supplies
• Coordinate with staff on organization of supply room and closet
• Supports Chief Financial Officer and Controller on special projects
• Other tasks as required
