About The Position

The Machine Operator I position involves essential duties and responsibilities that include adjusting parameters to ensure good quality and optimal machine efficiency. The operator must be able to interpret machine faults, determine root causes, and rectify issues permanently within the validated condition of the equipment. The role requires performing minor machine adjustments, changeovers, and setups without maintenance intervention, such as track alignments and simple feeder bowl changes. The operator should demonstrate flexibility in operating multiple moderately complex machines, which typically involve press and torque fitments, have less than 10 stations, require moderate levels of operator attention, and involve some station and fixture alignments.

Requirements

• Basic Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer experience preferred
• Knowledge of inventory management systems
• Knowledge of machine maintenance or repair
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years' experience preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
