About the position
As a Manager, Business Development at Showpad, you will lead a team of Business Development Representatives to deliver high-quality, qualified opportunities for the sales team to generate revenue and provide value to prospects and customers. You will work in sync with the marketing, sales, and BDR team, mentor and develop employees, and contribute creative ideas and best-practices to help the organization’s goal to be best-in-class. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, high-energy sales management professional with 1-3 years of successful experience in managing a sales, sales development, or account management team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. Experience with outbound lead generation, inbound sales development, and lead conversion activities is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development Representatives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment focused on delivery of high-quality, qualified opportunities for our sales team to generate revenue and provide value to prospects and customers
- Work in sync with the marketing, sales, and BDR team
- Mentor, motivate and develop employees to deliver on the organization’s qualified opportunity goals in-line with our sales plan
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual qualified sales opportunities targets
- Provide on-boarding and continuous training for the BDRs to help them meet their career goals within realistic timeframes and expectations
- Contribute creative ideas and best-practices to help the organization’s goal to be best-in-class
Requirements
- Dynamic, high-energy sales management professional with 1-3 years successful experience in managing a sales, sales development or account management team in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Experience with outbound lead generation, inbound sales development and lead conversion activities
- Self-starter with results-driven personality; experienced with delivering monthly and/or quarterly quota results
- Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities

- Bonus points for experience with Salesforce, Outreach, Zoom Info/Lead IQ/6Sense/Drift, and executing various ABM campaigns in a cross-functional team environment.
