Engineering Manager, Engineering Experience

Retool is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Engineering Experience team. The role involves enhancing the way developers work by streamlining workflows, building infrastructure and tooling, and fostering a culture of engineering excellence. The manager will be responsible for creating a supportive and efficient ecosystem for developers to do their best work, while also championing practices that elevate code quality and innovation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering developers, creating seamless workflows, and driving a culture of excellence.

• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, never settling for mediocrity
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and opportunities within our development lifecycle
• Design and implement processes and tools that streamline development workflows, from coding to deployment

• Experience in software development and building internal tools
