About the position
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Manager to lead our Backend Engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining internal back-office applications and integrations. As the team Manager, you will drive technical excellence, ensure the delivery of high-quality software, and foster a collaborative environment. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to enable efficient development cycles. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, successful leadership experience, and a genuine passion for building reliable software solutions.
- Lead and manage a small team of talented backend engineers working on the development and maintenance of internal back-office applications and integrations
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to the team, fostering their growth and professional development
- Actively participate in hands-on coding and technical contributions, leveraging expertise in backend engineering to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with business objectives
- Help the team drive the design, development, and maintenance of features for efficient management of workspaces, billing configurations, data operations, contract provisioning automation, and integrations with internal systems
- Automate currently manual processing and contribute to improving operational efficiency
- Ensure back-office applications and integrations meet high standards of performance, reliability, security, and scalability
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and drive their adoption within the team to enhance the platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery
