As a leader in engineering, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring multiple engineering teams, making architectural decisions, and increasing the output of your teams.
Responsibilities
- Leading one or more engineering teams at a time
- Mentoring engineers of all experience levels and managing your teams' performance to increase the output of the people you lead and others around them
- Guiding and making architectural decisions to enable the building of efficient and reusable services, APIs, and complex web and mobile applications
- Being accountable for your team's performance and delivering high-quality results
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development
- Continuously improving engineering processes and practices
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems
- Ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the software systems
- Participating in code reviews and ensuring code quality standards are met
- Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their technical skills and career growth.
