About the position
Argyle is a fast-growing, remote-first Series B startup that is solving a systemic data problem in the consumer finance industry. They are a real-time income data platform that allows users to connect their employment records to apps and websites, providing them with access to financial resources. The company's mission is to give consumers ownership over their income, employment, and identity data to create a more equal and efficient financial system. They are looking for a Tech-savvy individual to manage multiple scanner engineering squads and be a part of the Data Build leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day running of multiple scanner engineering squads
- Ensure efficient, documented, prioritized, and distributed work pipeline
- Take ownership of people management, including performance management, training needs, and talent development
- Analyze, plan, and gauge progress of work
- Own cadence measures, reporting, and communication to stakeholders
- Be a part of Data Build leadership team
- Help set appropriate OKRs, shape short-term strategy, priorities, and schedule of work
- Lead initiatives and manage delivery plans and progress of new feature development involving multiple teams
Requirements
- Experience managing multiple engineering squads
- Strong people management skills, including performance management and talent development
- Ability to analyze, plan, and gauge progress of work
- Experience in setting goals and shaping short-term strategy
- Ability to lead initiatives and manage delivery plans
- Tech savvy with knowledge of Python, protobuf, and Kafka
