About The Position

Michelin, the Worldwide leader in Tires, is hiring an EMT Certified Security Officer. The position involves supporting the business unit in achieving objectives while ensuring safety and quality. The officer will be responsible for maintaining safety provisions, performing patrols, and implementing security measures. The role also includes responding to emergencies, managing fire systems, and providing reception services.

Requirements

• Must have SCNREMT certification.
• Obtain Incident Command & Interior Structural Firefighter certifications.
• Have HAZMAT training.
• Complete SCFA 1152 course or equivalent.
• Ability to meet medical requirements for MET Membership.
• Ability to maintain a proper seal for a SCBA Mask.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in emergency response and firefighting.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the business unit in achieving objectives as specified by the plant.
• Ensure safety provisions are operational to control risks on site.
• Perform and document fire safety security patrols.
• Carry out verification and control plans.
• Implement the EP3 process for security.
• Monitor and operate central alarm panels.
• Intervene in the event of an intrusion or incident.
• Provide reception services and inform newcomers of site safety rules.
• Write reports of anomalies and fill in safety indicators.
