About The Position

Global Power Components is seeking skilled or entry-level electricians and electrical assemblers to join their fast-growing team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves working on the construction of large steel and aluminum enclosures used in the power generation industry. Requirements

• Detail-oriented with the ability to learn to read blueprints and bill of materials
• Aptitude to learn GPC manufacturing processes
• Ability to read measuring devices, such as tape measure
• Capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Highly motivated with a desire to learn and advance
• Able to communicate and work well with others
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen
• Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders

Responsibilities

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and GPC fabricated components
• Perform light fabrication work including drilling, forming, wire stripping, and crimping
• Handle materials as required
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, and Team Leads
• Support the installation needs for various electrical equipment
