About The Position

Hale's Electric is looking for an Electrician Apprentice to join their team! This position will begin as an apprentice to a Generator / Service Technician and work toward a career as a Generator Service Technician. Candidate will perform, with supervision, all aspects of work relating to the Service and Troubleshoot/Repair of Generac generator systems. This includes air and liquid cooled units.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Possess and demonstrate good mechanical aptitude.
• Be in good physical condition and be capable of lifting 100 pounds.
• Must be able and willing to work in a variety of conditions and circumstances, including cold, heat, tight spaces, crawl spaces, and attics.
• Must have a positive attitude, be team oriented, and have a desire to succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Higher education, experience, or a related trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Journeyman or Master Electrician in all aspects of work relating to the electrical installation of Generac generator systems.
• Loading and unloading equipment and tools as necessary.
• Following instructions of the Electrician running the work or job.
• Maintaining & keeping tools and supplies well organized and understanding the purpose and name of each within the first ninety day period.
• Perform in a fast-paced environment, listen and comprehend instructions, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in that type of environment.
