About The Position

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining electrical or electronic plant production machinery and support equipment throughout the site. This role offers an excellent career opportunity for individuals with experience in industrial maintenance and PLC programming.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
• 3 or more years of PLC Programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring and equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Perform electrical work in accordance with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Use hand tools and power tools to install and connect wiring, switches, and other electrical components.
• Test electrical systems for proper operation and safety.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
• Installation of switch gear, motors, transformers, etc.
• Experience with PLC, Robotics, Servo drives.
• Write, program, troubleshoot, modify and/or repair programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, robotics, and other electronic equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment and machine components.
• Modifies and writes logic control programs. Assists in the diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and similar problems and apply appropriate corrective action.
• Performs frequency drives, writes drive logic in PLC code, creates HMI applications uploads and downloads PLC programs and HMI applications, programs ladder logic to troubleshoot equipment, integrates new processes into equipment, sets up network communications and sets up advanced routing of Ethernet protocols.
