Requirements

  • 5-10 years experience in building systems commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, and control systems.
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency and sustainability practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, or related field).
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CxA, PE, LEED AP).
  • Experience with commissioning and system testing.
  • Technical writing.
  • Project management.
  • Data analysis.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and ensure adherence to commissioning processes and best practices unique to the data center & mission critical environment.
  • Maintain accurate and updated documentation processes throughout the commissioning process, including project plans, progress reports, change orders, and final commissioning reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to commissioning and project management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute innovative ideas to enhance project delivery and streamline commissioning processes.
  • Plan and execute commissioning processes for building systems.
  • Develop and review commissioning plans, test procedures, and reports.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and performance testing.
  • Identify and document deficiencies and oversee corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
