Educational Diagnostician

About the position

The Educational Diagnostician will play a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing students' educational needs. This position involves working closely with students, parents, and educational staff to develop appropriate educational plans and interventions. The diagnostician will utilize various assessment tools and techniques to evaluate students' learning abilities and challenges, ensuring that each student receives the support they need to succeed academically.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' educational needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Provide recommendations for interventions and support services based on assessment results.
• Monitor and review student progress and adjust educational plans as necessary.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Educational Diagnostician or related field.
• Valid state certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
