Genesis10 is seeking an experienced eCommerce Java / J2EE Developer/Lead to develop mission-critical products and define software requirements for large, multi-year projects. This role involves mentoring team members and delivering high-profile web applications, utilizing a variety of technologies in a hybrid remote work environment.

Mentor and learn from a team of developers.
Develop various application types using Java and J2EE.
Code new applications from predefined program specifications.
Maintain and modify existing programs in production.
Deliver and support high-profile web applications.

10+ years of IT experience.
5+ years of Java web development experience.
2+ years serving as a mentor or leader in a technical environment.
2+ years of experience with web applications running Java 8.
Thorough understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
Proven technology and implementation know-how with multi-tier web applications.
Experience with Spring, MVC, Hibernate, and/or Wicket.
Experience with SAP Hybris.
Must have eCommerce experience.
Full project lifecycle experience in delivering complex Internet-based applications.
Solid core Java programming skills in J2EE 7, 8, Jakarta EE.
Experience developing enterprise-grade applications using Java 8/JEE, AngularJS, React.js, SQL, Spring, and HTML5.
Experience with Web Service development and knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP protocols.
Experience with web technologies such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON.
Working knowledge of Apache Tomcat or other platforms.
Deployment knowledge for J2EE application server platforms, including use of Maven or Ant.
Good SQL skills with experience in MySQL Cluster, MySQL, and Oracle.

Sun Java Certification or other vendor certifications preferred.
Java Software Engineer, J2EE Software Developer, Java Programmer, Java Ecommerce Developer certifications.
