About The Position

The Store Associate at DSW is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to shoppers both in-store and through omni-channel services. This role involves assisting customers, managing merchandise, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment. Store Associates act as brand ambassadors, embodying the company's values and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Must have availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Professional, friendly, and customer service focused.
• Ability to move with tempo to meet time-bound expectations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of technology for customer interactions.
• Ability to stand or walk for up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally to frequently.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a helpful and friendly approach.
• Share the benefits of the DSW Loyalty program and enroll new members.
• Answer questions regarding products and complete customer transactions.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe environment for customers.
• Receive inbound freight and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Complete all functions of the fulfillment process for online orders.
• Follow DSW's policies and procedures during customer transactions.
• Participate in daily team meetings and ongoing training.
