About The Position

The Donation Attendant at Goodwill Industries of the Olympic and Rainier Region is a part-time role focused on processing and sorting community donations. This position plays a vital part in maintaining a clean donation area, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring proper record-keeping of donations. Responsibilities

• Accept donations from donors and issue receipts as necessary.
• Keep donation area both inside and outside clean, neat, and free of debris at all times.
• Assist in the unloading/loading of trucks and/or trailers.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting donors and carrying donations from their vehicles to the center.
• Determine acceptable donations and communicate decisions effectively and politely to customers.
• Maintain all required records and deliver them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.
