About The Position

We're currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Receiving Lead to join our growing team.

Requirements

• 1+ years supply chain experience (scheduling, transportation distribution, supervision)
• Knowledge of Warehouse operations best practices
• JDA experience is preferred
• Good work history and a willingness to be a team player
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Warehouse Practices
• Ability to lift 50 pounds routinely
• Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize daily activities and ongoing projects.
• Flexibility, managing change in a positive direction.
• Time Management - Managing one's own time and the times of others.
• Judgment and Decision Making - Consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Good computer skills, especially Excel, PPT, PBI and experience with SAP and WMS.
• Assist Supervisor in managing between 14-25 employees.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish) a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitors flow and communicates with floor personnel to identify possible problems or changes coming.
• Primary focus on picking operations, but will support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
• Provides coverage for vacations on other shifts as well as office personnel and supervisors when needed.
• Responsible for various reports to maintain inventory accuracy and answering questions for the floor personnel.
• Monitors forklift operators and equipment to ensure the safety of warehouse personnel.
• Keeps the daily flow of work moving with minimal support from the supervisor.
• May be asked to cover other areas, including off-shifts.
