About The Position

Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in Business Office, HIM, Patient Access, and Revenue Integrity (including Charge Description Master management) activities. This position is responsible for defining work processes and procedures, assuring adequate staffing, and supporting the goals of the organization through revenue stream functions. The position assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures while assuring the quality of customer service throughout the revenue stream.

Requirements

• Master's degree in health administration, accounting, business or a related field.
• Five or more previous health care experience in revenue stream functions.
• Knowledge of JCAHO and state regulations as pertaining to revenue stream functions.
• Knowledge of billing practices, Medicare, Medicaid Reimbursement.
• Knowledge of reimbursement practices, including HMOs and PPOs.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner.
• Ability to communicate with tact and professionalism.
