About the position
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director, Product Marketing to lead the successful launch of our cutting-edge data ingestion product. The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive product marketing strategy, conducting market analysis, creating compelling product messaging and positioning, collaborating with the sales team for effective sales enablement, determining optimal pricing and packaging strategies, leading go-to-market execution, developing high-quality marketing collateral, and identifying opportunities for market expansion and growth. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the data integration or data management industry, and a proven track record of successfully launching and marketing enterprise software products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the successful launch of the data ingestion product
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Create compelling product messaging and positioning to effectively communicate the value proposition of the data integration solution
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales enablement tools and provide training and support
- Determine optimal pricing and packaging strategies based on market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning
- Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of go-to-market plans, including coordinating product launches, marketing campaigns, and events
- Develop high-quality marketing collateral, including product datasheets, whitepapers, and customer success stories
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and growth by exploring new verticals, partnerships, and customer segments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the data integration or data management industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and marketing enterprise software products, driving revenue growth, and building profitable lines of business.
- Strong understanding of data integration and ETL concepts, as well as familiarity with tools such as Matillion and Fivetran.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage market insights to inform marketing strategies and drive product differentiation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing go-to-market plans, including product positioning, messaging, and sales enablement.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth and achieving targets.

- Base salary between $160,000 to $200,000
