Director, Product

The Director, Product Management is responsible for leading the product management of the Where-To-Buy (WTB) business area and the overall PriceSpider platform. They will collaborate with engineering, design, and various business stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap for WTB and the platform. This role involves managing a team of product managers, ensuring they work towards a common vision, and supporting them in product discovery, definition, and delivery. The Director, Product Management should have a deep understanding of customer-centric product management practices and expertise in customer journey, planning, and product development.

Establish, refine, and communicate the vision and roadmap to the business and customers

Establish goals and manage product scorecards, communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders

Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and continuously monitor performance against goals

Manage a team of product managers in the development and delivery of their respective product roadmaps

Mentor and develop the team, providing feedback on their work and supporting their product discovery, definition, and delivery

Support the team in conducting product discovery to understand customer needs

Conduct market, competitive, and consumer analyses to support product development

Work side-by-side with business stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and customer success

• Deep understanding of customer-centric product management practices
• Expertise in understanding the customer journey, planning, and product development
• Ability to establish, refine, and communicate the product vision and roadmap
• Experience in setting goals and managing product scorecards
• Strong knowledge of business drivers such as profitability, pricing, and sales channels
• Ability to manage a team of product managers and mentor their development
• Proficiency in conducting product discovery to understand customer needs
• Experience in market, competitive, and consumer analysis to support product development
• Ability to balance market, business, technical, and customer needs for product viability
• Knowledge of identifying and executing partnership and integration opportunities
• Ability to generate product requirement documents based on customer needs
• Familiarity with Agile development environment and acting as a product owner
