About the position
The Director, Product Management is responsible for overseeing the product management of the Where-To-Buy (WTB) business area and the overall PriceSpider platform. They will work closely with engineering, design, and various business stakeholders to define the product vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's goals. This role requires a deep understanding of customer-centric product management practices and expertise in customer journey mapping, planning, and product development. The Director will also be responsible for managing a team of product managers and supporting them in product discovery, definition, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Establish, refine, and communicate the vision and roadmap for the Where-To-Buy (WTB) business area and the PriceSpider platform
- Set goals and manage product scorecards, communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of business drivers and continuously monitor performance against goals
- Manage a team of product managers, providing mentorship and feedback on their work
- Support the team in product discovery, including understanding customer needs and conducting market and competitive analyses
- Work with business stakeholders to balance market, business, technical, and customer needs
- Identify and execute partnership and integration opportunities to enrich product offerings
- Network with key internal stakeholders to build product leadership
- Generate product requirement documents (PRDs) based on customer and consumer needs
- Collaborate with engineering and product designers to develop and test POCs and prototypes
- Work with Engineering to develop new capabilities and act as a product owner in an Agile development environment
- Collaborate with Marketing and other teams to bring new capabilities to market
- Continuously monitor product lifecycle and manage lifecycle events (end of life, new product launch, etc.)
- Minimum qualifications: 5 years of experience in product management

- Experience in market, competitive, and consumer analyses to support product development
- Ability to balance market, business, technical, and customer needs to ensure product viability
- Knowledge of identifying and executing partnership and integration opportunities to enrich product offerings
- Strong networking skills with key internal stakeholders to build product leadership
- Ability to generate product requirement documents based on customer and consumer needs
- Experience in developing and testing POCs and prototypes with target customers
- Familiarity with Agile development environment and acting as a product owner
- Collaboration with engineering and product designers to develop new capabilities
- Knowledge of bringing new capabilities to market and managing product lifecycle events
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
