About the position
This is a new role partnering with the Chief Product Officer at Mozilla Corporation. The role involves driving significant impact by developing a team of People Business Partners and providing thought leadership in organizational effectiveness, talent development, and leadership coaching. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and impact of Mozilla's existing products and lay the foundation for new product development.
Responsibilities
- Build strategic alignment across business and people imperatives
- Deliver scalable people programs using user-centered design
- Lead effective organizational and cultural change
- Gain a detailed understanding of product vision and business strategy
- Be a thought partner and advisor to leadership teams
- Champion guiding principles for People Business Partners (PBPs)
- Partner with functional leaders and IDEA team to deliver talent plans
- Collaborate with People Science to integrate people insights into decisions
- Flex between strategic, analytical, and creative thinking
- Drive simple and effective solutions
- Establish and build positive relationships across all levels of the organization
- Apply first principles thinking and ask hard questions
- Demonstrate generative and courageous leadership style
- Ensure processes enable scale and equity
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience as an HRBP working with senior executives in product, technology, or engineering functions
- 5+ years building and developing HRBP teams in environments of high growth and transformation
- Ability to flex between strategic, analytical, and creative thinking
- Experience building people programs from ground up and seeing them at scale
- Curious and consultative approach
- History of establishing and building positive relationships across all levels of the organization
- First principles thinking
- Generative and courageous leadership style
- Knowledge of processes that enable scale and equity
