Director, People Business Partner

This is a new role partnering with the Chief Product Officer at Mozilla Corporation to drive the growth and impact of existing products and lay the foundation for new product development. The role involves leading a team of People Business Partners and utilizing expertise in organizational effectiveness, talent development, and leadership coaching. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in a company that aims to build software that positively impacts the world.

• Build strategic alignment across business and people imperatives
• Deliver scalable people programs using user-centered design

• Champion guiding principles for People Business Partners (PBPs)
• Partner with legal counsel to address complex employee relations issues

• Collaborate with People Science to integrate people insights into decisions

• 12+ years of progressive experience as an HRBP working with senior executives in product, technology, or engineering functions
• 5+ years building and developing HRBP teams in environments of high growth and transformation
• Ability to flex between strategic, analytical, and creative thinking
• Experience building people programs from ground up and seeing them at scale
• Curious and consultative approach
• History of establishing and building positive relationships across all levels of the organization
• First principles thinking
• Generative and courageous leadership style
• Knowledge of when processes enable scale and equity and when to prioritize people over process
