About the position
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Accounts who will be responsible for building and leading our new Strategy and Partnerships function. This role involves owning critical initiatives such as strategic subject matter expertise, pricing and ROI analyses, new product business development, channel partnership formation, strategic sales enablement, and product roadmap prioritization. The Director of Strategic Accounts will work closely with the executive leadership team and collaborate with various departments within the company. This is a pivotal role in our platform and company's growth, as it involves managing important commercial relationships and driving business growth for Vim. Ideal candidates should have experience in managing large partnerships, driving results, and expertise in value-based healthcare partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the strategic vision, growth goals, and relationships at the account level to create a partnership for long-term value
- Focusing on strategic account execution and identifying new business, renewal, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities
- Building, maintaining, and closing a strong pipeline of opportunities
- Managing executive relationships and aligning customer strategies and budgets to products and point of care network
- Nurturing Executive Sponsors and Champions, negotiating renewals and expansions, and increasing year over year account booking in a defined portfolio of accounts
- Understanding C-level initiatives at strategic clients and mapping capabilities and solutions to those objectives
- Owning and executing account management strategy and operations with transparency and alignment between account-level goals, commercial growth, and corporate and product strategy
- Collaborating with Growth Strategy, Enterprise Success, Product, Provider Engagement, and Delivery teams to set, measure, and achieve account-level performance outcomes
- Ensuring high provider uptake for a given account's point of care applications or content, and high and increasing ROI for commercial partners
- Reporting to the executive leadership team regarding account health, priorities, and blockers
Requirements
- Experience managing large, complex partnerships and initiatives
- Ability to drive results across high performing cross-functional teams
- Experience in value-based healthcare partnerships between payers and providers
- Expertise in healthcare SaaS products (preferred)
- Highly commercially ambitious and able to think big
- Extremely professionally athletic and able to build relationships with C-suite executives
- Operationally adept and metrics-minded
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to manage accounts for measurable, outcomes-specific success
- Proactive understanding of C-level initiatives at strategic clients
- Ability to align customer strategies and budgets to products and point of care network

- Salary Range: $185,000k + OTE
