About The Position

The Director of Operations for a hydration beverage manufacturer will oversee the establishment and daily operations of a new plant in Waco, TX. This role is critical as the first team member in the US, responsible for hiring the Senior Leadership team and ensuring operational excellence as the company expands its footprint in the US market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related manufacturing degree.
• 10+ years of senior level management experience overseeing multiple teams across numerous shifts.
• Background in beverage manufacturing is required.
• Robust background in industry-related regulations such as FDA, HACCP, ISO22000, etc.
• Experience with new plant startups is a plus.
• P&L understanding.
• Familiarity with SAP.
• Bilingual in Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete operational oversight including production scheduling, cost & quality goals, operational excellence, shipping & logistics, and quality assurance.
• Assign work tasks to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Manage operational budget to ensure minimal production costs.
• Oversee logistics team for timely delivery of products.
• Review and improve processes and procedures.
• Develop and direct a Continuous Improvement program.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and proper storage.
• Prepare plant operational reports and relay insights to the CEO.
