About The Position

The Director of Human Resources (HR) will serve as a key member of the executive team and will be responsible for all HR functions related to the employee full life cycle within Trilogy Innovations. This position will play a vital role in driving the company's talent strategy, fostering a positive company culture, and ensuring that organizational goals align human resources practices. The Director of HR will lead the HR department, manage employee relations, support talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years' experience working for a government contracting organization or relevant GovCon experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices, including federal and state regulations.
  • Proven ability to design and implement strategic HR initiatives and programs.
  • Experience with talent management, performance management, compensation, and benefits planning.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a focus on team development and coaching.
  • Ability to think strategically and operate with a hands-on approach to solving HR challenges.

Nice To Haves

  • ADP Workforce Now Experience or similar HR platform, preferred.
  • SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or other HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and implement the organization's HR strategy that aligns with Trilogy Innovations' overall business goals.
  • Provide strategic guidance to department heads and managers on employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts, including recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
  • Develop and implement onboarding processes to include conducting new hire orientation, legal documentation requirements, benefits administration, etc.
  • Develop and implement robust training and development programs to foster employee growth, contractual requirements, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment by addressing employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Ensure that employee relations practices are aligned with company values, and that employees feel heard and supported.
  • Attend, may lead, and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Conduct exit interviews.
  • Counsel and guide managers and supervisors on performance management, discipline, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain employee records in Trilogy's HRIS. Process changes in employee compensation, training, awards, kudos, position, and benefits.
  • Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking studies to ensure compensation packages are market-competitive and aligned with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding employee benefits and compensation.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Responsible for HR-related risk management, ensuring the protection of the organization from legal issues related to labor laws, workplace safety, and employee relations.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain performance management system, ensuring it drives employee accountability, growth, and high performance.
  • Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high standards across the organization.
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including change management, team building, and employee engagement programs.
  • Utilize HR data to provide insights and recommendations for improving talent management, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Develop and present regular reports to senior leadership on HR metrics such as turnover, retention rates, diversity, and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor HR effectiveness and continuously refine strategies to improve outcomes.
