About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in financial management and operations, ideally in a nonprofit organization.
  • Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Experience supervising or supporting HR and people management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Commitment to the organization's values of equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole is highly encouraged.
  • Experience in the domestic violence field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to support REACH's mission.
  • Provide financial guidance to ensure responsible management of resources.
  • Report on financial health to the leadership team and board.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient execution of functions aligned with REACH's core values.
  • Manage facilities, contracts, and administrative processes to maintain a safe environment.
  • Supervise the HR Manager to create a supportive workplace.
  • Support recruitment and retention strategies that reflect REACH's dedication to collaboration.
  • Act as a liaison with partners, funders, and the community.
  • Ensure compliance with financial, legal, and operational regulations.
  • Implement systems that mitigate risks and support transparency.
