About the position
The Director of Customer Acquisition will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for acquiring new customers primarily for the self-serve/digital channel. They will lead cross-functional marketing teams and external supplier/agency relationships to deliver efficient new customer growth at scale. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in customer acquisition, be data-driven, and able to provide regular reporting and insights to key stakeholders. They will also contribute to group-level strategy and initiatives to increase the overall efficacy of the Acquire & Activate Group.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic acquisition strategy across various channels such as paid and organic search, affiliates, and social media.
- Work cross-functionally with product, finance/analytics, and marketing content teams to identify and execute effective acquisition activities.
- Set up and manage a continuous improvement program using data and insights to optimize acquisition activities.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on key metrics to the Acquire & Activate team and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to group-level strategy and initiatives as a member of the Acquire & Activate leadership team.
- Lead and manage acquisition marketing teams to deliver growth.
- Influence senior business leaders to support and endorse acquisition strategies and ideas.
- Dive into data to produce strategic recommendations and insights.
- Collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Have knowledge/experience in financial services and the fintech industry.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to be hands-on.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in customer acquisition with proven track record in leading and managing acquisition marketing teams to deliver growth
- Self-starter with a growth mindset who can quickly iterate and adapt strategy and tactics
- Experienced in influencing senior business leaders to support and endorse strategies and ideas
- Comfortable diving into data to produce informed strategic recommendations and insights
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Knowledge/experience of financial services and the fintech industry
- Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude; willing to "get in the weeds"
