Requirements

  • Previous supervisory experience

  • Experience managing teams and driving large-scale initiatives
  • Familiarity with higher education or admissions operations is preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking and leadership abilities
  • Expertise in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with change management and organizational transformation

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate in leadership, higher education, or organizational transformation
  • Master's Degree
  • Experience with Slate or other relevant CRM tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and administer admissions programs and internal procedures.
  • Set goals to achieve strategic objectives and ensure alignment with the university's long-term goals.
  • Track KPIs for operational efficiency and student recruitment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with administrative and academic units on policy development and execution.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for the admissions office and streamline processes for efficiency.
  • Develop and monitor the department budget, overseeing revenue and expense planning.
  • Interpret and disseminate information, provide advice, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Drive change management initiatives across admissions teams to foster a high-performing culture.
  • Serve on various university committees and represent the department at state and national associations.
  • Monitor current trends in admissions and adjust project strategies as needed.
