Director of Account Management

The job overview for the Director of Account Management position at Tropic is to lead a team of Account Managers in managing, renewing, and expanding relationships with current customers. The role involves hiring and developing a high-performing team and collaborating with the sales leadership team to build a world-class organization. The Director of Account Management will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and have the autonomy to develop their team as they see fit. The focus is on leveraging Tropic's software and services to help customers with their procurement needs and turning procurement into a competitive advantage.

Recruit, hire, and train the best Account Managers

Develop your team to hustle responsibly and build the best possible relationships with our customers

Provide a leadership presence on late-stage sales calls to support your team

Collaborate with and advise our Customer Success, Sales Ops, Enablement, Product, and Negotiation teams

Provide regular business updates to internal stakeholders

• 4+ years B2B SaaS account management/sales experience with demonstrable success
• 2+ years in management or team lead capacity
