The Director of Federal Government Relations position serves as the key link between Jacobs' leadership and the federal government, specifically in the fields of water, environmental and infrastructure policy, as well as an expertise with federal funding. The preferred candidate should have at least five years of experience working with or for the Legislative and/or Executive branches of the U.S. federal government. This position will require extensive analytical work tracking the federal budget, advocacy to promote legislative activity, and driving the appropriations processes as they relate to current and future Jacobs' business needs. Specifically, this position will focus on federal infrastructure policies and how they impact - and fund - projects and client needs at both the federal and local levels.
