The Digital Solution Architect at Roche plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between sales and implementation of digital solutions in healthcare settings. This position is responsible for providing technical advice during the late stages of the sales process and ensuring successful implementation at customer sites, primarily hospitals and laboratories. The role involves managing multiple projects, coordinating with customer IT groups, and ensuring compliance with Roche's policies and procedures while delivering exceptional service to clients.

  • Support late-stage sales processes and early-stage implementation of digital solutions at customer sites.
  • Provide technical advice to validate customer solutions during late-stage sales activities.
  • Review customer site readiness plans and project scope.
  • Design and communicate project IT requirements for customer implementations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring resources are aligned and available.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure project progress on schedule while meeting performance parameters.
  • Manage customer installation expectations and identify project risks.
  • Formulate plans to minimize impacts to projects and escalate implementation issues as needed.
  • Work closely with customer IT groups to support implementation and manage security alignment.
  • Create standard builds of servers in compliance with internal requirements.
  • Perform remote and/or on-site troubleshooting of digital solutions as needed.
  • Conduct pre-implementation, implementation, and post-project review meetings.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internal stakeholders on complex IT challenges.
  • Participate in onboarding training and mentoring activities.
  • Provide feedback based on client experiences for product and process improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Deep knowledge and experience with networking and security in a healthcare setting.
  • Highly effective communication skills, able to translate technical language for non-technical groups.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and drive resolution.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • 7 or more years of related experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical skills within product groups including Microsoft Windows, IT Security, Networking, Intersystems Cache or IRIS.
  • Familiarity with healthcare domain integration standards (ASTM, HL7, EMR, ADT, etc.).
  • Knowledge of clinical customer base and critical components of an LIS and laboratory IT processes.
  • Discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
