About The Position

The US Digital Marketing and Martech Transformation team is on a mission to accelerate marketing performance through best-in-class strategy, execution, and innovation across digital channels. As part of the External Digital Media team, the successful candidate will join the Paid Search (SEM) and Performance Max practice area, one of several cross-functional channel centers of excellence responsible for delivering profitable growth across the bank's US lines of business such as Deposits, Lending, Small Business, and Commercial. The Marketing department follows an Agile operating model. The ideal candidate should be able to collaborate across multiple teams, actively problem solve, learn and adapt quickly to the changing business demands. Quantitative and Analytical skills to draw on performance reports, generate insights, develop forecasts and business cases are key drivers of success for this role.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree and/or relevant professional certifications, designations, or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years relevant experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of multiple marketing disciplines, strategy development, consulting principles, lines of businesses supported, banking industry, and banking product/customer markets.
  • Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends.
  • Knowledge of risk management environment, standards and regulations.
  • Ability to manage a budget and work within the constraints of that budget.
  • Ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
  • Skill in using computer applications including MS Office.
  • Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • In-platform Paid Search experience, managing day-to-day campaigns across Google SA360, Google Ads, and Bing Ads.
  • Hands-on keyboard experience with day-to-day management, inclusive of keyword research, ad copy writing, campaign structure development, bid & budget management, optimization, A/B testing, reporting.
  • Google CM360 experience preferred.
  • Tagging experience preferred (e.g., management of implementation, Q/A support and troubleshooting).
  • Experience with reporting platforms, ranging from site analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe) to data visualization (Tableau, Domo).
  • Strong analytical mind, comfortable analyzing and interpreting data to understand campaign performance and key areas of improvement.
  • Problem solver and strategic thinker with a strong ability to align channel strategy with business objectives.
  • Adaptable, curious, and growth-oriented.
  • Strong communicator, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders and partners.
  • Financial services experience preferred.
  • Google Ads certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support and/or manage key deliverables in relation to projects, plans, and/or campaigns.
  • Conduct introductory research/analysis and data synthesis/communication.
  • Manage basic partner relationships (internal and/or external).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of projects/plans after implementation.
  • Assist in compiling, analyzing, and communicating feedback from various internal/external stakeholders.
  • Help develop recommendations and incorporate changes into future projects.
