Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in agricultural repair.
• Experience with hydraulic systems, gearbox, and PTO engagement systems.
• Diesel diagnostic and engine overhaul experience, preferably with John Deere.
• Welding, fabrication, and cutting torch background preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver's license required.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• John Deere certifications or trade school diploma is a plus.
• Must have tools to accomplish job assignments.
• Experience in diagnostics and troubleshooting of farm and harvesting equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Ford truck repair experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble units, repair or replace parts, and reassemble units in various systems including cooling, drive, brake, electrical, steering, heating, air conditioning, hydraulic, and air systems.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
• Maintain company-assigned vehicles in good working condition.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural diesel engines, tractors, farm trucks, and harvesting equipment.
