DevOps Engineer (Infra/SRE)

This remote position at 3Cloud is seeking a Site Reliability Developer or DevOps Developer with a strong foundation in SRE principles and significant experience with Microsoft Azure. The candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing resilient, scalable systems on the Azure platform, collaborating with onshore and offshore teams, and leveraging Azure services to improve system monitoring and performance. They will also troubleshoot issues, contribute to the development of SRE and DevOps standards, and participate in agile development processes. Strong communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and experience in an agile environment are required.

• Develop and implement resilient, scalable systems on the Microsoft Azure platform, focusing on automation, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to implement SRE/DevOps solutions aligned with business requirements and goals.
• Leverage Azure services and tools to improve system monitoring, alerting, and performance.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues impacting system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of SRE and DevOps standards, guidelines, and procedures.
• Document and maintain system configurations, procedures, and changes in line with best practices.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing off-hours support as needed.
• Participate in agile development processes and project management practices, ensuring clear communication with the broader team.

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Developer, DevOps Developer, or a similar role, preferably within a remote or offshore context.
• Deep understanding of SRE principles and practices, with extensive experience in DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including familiarity with Azure services and tools relevant to site reliability.
• Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments.
• Experience working within an agile development environment and familiarity with related tools and practices.
• Technical Expertise in Terraform: Experience in writing and managing infrastructure as code using Terraform. Understanding of Terraform principles, modules, state management, and best practices.
