About the position
As a DevOps Engineer at Via, you will be responsible for automating workflows and processes, evolving service architecture, and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline. You will play a crucial role in the Via Engineering team, working alongside experienced, motivated, and independent engineers. The role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure scaling, reducing computation costs, integrating automated testing frameworks, and managing simulation environments. With a strong background in computer science and a minimum of 4 years of experience, you should be familiar with AWS deployment, Docker/Orchestration (such as Kubernetes), and various cloud providers. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, able to work independently, and possesses strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Defining and implementing effective cloud infrastructure scaling solutions based on best-in-class standard tools
- Reducing the computation costs of the company while increasing the computers' utilization
- Evaluating and integrating advanced automated testing frameworks
- Managing constantly updating intense simulation environments
- Deploying and maintaining service multi-cloud
- Automating workflows and processes
- Evolving service architecture
- Polishing CI/CD pipeline
- Working independently and efficiently managing tasks

Requirements
- BSc. Computer Science or similar
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
- Experienced with AWS deployment
- Have experience with Docker/Orchestration such as Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, AZURE)
- Fast learner: able to quickly master concepts, disciplines, and methods
- Knows how to work independently, build work plans, and manage tasks efficiently
- Team worker: understands the goals of the team and works towards them
- Pragmatic: able to transform difficult problems into simple ones and solve them easily
- Concise: gets stuff done in a simple, elegant way
