Developer Advocate

We are seeking a candidate to join our team at Pangea, a well-funded Series B startup focused on delivering an exceptional product for developers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advising application builders on APIs. Responsibilities include creating technical content, building demos and code examples, engaging with developers, and synthesizing feedback. Strong development skills, experience with modern cloud architectures, and a demonstrated ability to create engaging technical content are required. Public speaking experience and knowledge of secure application development are preferred.

• Create compelling technical content addressing real-world scenarios for application developers to consider in creating secure, compliant applications.
• Build engaging demos and code examples for use in blogs, YouTube videos, and other social content.
• Publish code examples on GitHub.
• Engage with developers through real-time chat, social channels, and developer sites like HackerNews and Reddit.
• Synthesize developer feedback and ensure product and engineering teams prioritize important feedback.
• Strong development skills in two or more programming languages: Java, PHP, Python, Go, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with modern cloud architectures, tools, and build pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience in creating engaging technical content through blogs and YouTube videos.
• Public speaking on technical topics at developer conferences or public YouTube videos.
• Nice to have: Working knowledge of secure application development.

• Salary range of $140,000 - $210,000 for CA Applicants (depending on experience)
