Destiny Senior Tools Engineer - Player Gear Team Lead

The Lead of the Player Gear System and Workflow team at Bungie will guide a team of engineers and technical artists working on gear systems, collaborate with artists and designers to develop technical solutions, and be a driver and advisor for technical decision-making in player rewards. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead engineers through planning, developing, and shipping, familiarity with creating efficient workflows, and the ability to build and maintain production quality C# or C++ code. This is a full-time position that may allow for remote work in Bungie approved locations.

• Guide a team of engineers and technical artists working on gear systems, helping translate team goals into actionable plans
• Collaborate with artists and designers to develop technical solutions that meet their needs
• Be a driver and advisor for technical decision-making in player rewards
• Manage multiple engineers, providing support, technical mentorship, constructive feedback, and career development coaching
• Build and maintain production-quality code using C# and C++
