About The Position

The Desktop Support IV position at TEKsystems involves providing expert-level technical assistance for desktop applications and hardware. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in desktop technology and support.
  • Ability to diagnose, patch, and deploy desktop systems and IT hardware.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with various customers, including executives.
  • Ability to identify, lead, and implement ITSM improvement initiatives based on ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification or similar
  • CompTIA A+ certification or similar
  • PMP certification or similar

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical assistance for desktop supported applications and hardware.
  • Diagnose, patch, and deploy desktop systems and other IT hardware such as mobile devices and printers.
  • Configure and administer the ITSM tool and lead ITSM improvement initiatives.
  • Coach and train junior technical support staff and IT personnel.
  • Create and implement IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Maintain professionalism during interactions with executive leadership.
