About The Position

Lead is a fintech building banking infrastructure for embedded financial products and services. We operate an FDIC-insured bank headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with additional offices in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, and New York City. Our team consists of technical, product, design, and legal professionals who are dedicated to navigating the complex banking and payments regulations. We aim to provide essential attributes that every fintech seeks in a partner bank, including technical expertise, compliance systems, and operational rigor. We are seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist I to support our deposit operations by performing routine reviews, maintaining accurate account records, assisting with reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks. This role involves collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day processes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency across deposit operations functions
  • Perform routine account, transaction, and hold reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures
  • Perform routine account maintenance, ensuring consistent data integrity for internal and regulatory needs
  • Assist with preparing documentation for internal and external audit processes and legal requests
  • Index and archive documents to ensure accurate record-keeping, easy retrieval, and compliance
  • Address operational issues by following established procedures and collaborating with internal teams for resolution
  • Prepare and maintain basic internal reports to support operational needs and ensure stakeholders have accurate, up-to-date information
  • Coordinate with internal teams to track, report, and resolve operational issues, driving continuous improvement in processes and documentation
  • Assist with the update and implementation of policies and procedures in response to regulatory or operational changes
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
