About The Position

The Medical Alert Alarm Installer position at STAAR Alert involves traveling to customers' homes to install in-home medical technology. This role is focused on providing excellent customer service while ensuring the proper installation and testing of medical alert systems. Technicians will use their personal vehicles initially, with the potential for a company vehicle after 90 days, and will be compensated for mileage. The job requires effective communication with customers and the service office, as well as the ability to complete necessary paperwork electronically.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to install in-home medical technology.
• Install, service, and pick up Medical Alert Systems, Medication Management Systems, and Telehealth Systems.
• Test the equipment for installations and service work.
• Maintain and complete paperwork for finalizing work assignments.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with customers and service office staff.
• Use GPS navigation to safely drive to job sites.
• Report any maintenance issues with company vehicles.
• Be available for on-call phone support on a rotating basis.
