About The Position

The Degree Audit Coordinator at Texas A&M University - Kingsville serves as the primary subject matter expert for the Degree Works system, responsible for its implementation, optimization, and technical support. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of related experience in IT.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting, client relations, and project management methodology.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Experience working in academic advising and/or curriculum design.
• Experience with Banner, Degree Works, and reporting software.
• Experience in HTML or content management systems.
• Experience creating reports and working with complex databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Degree Works.
• Program the degree audit with university-approved curriculum requirements for all programs.
• Coordinate with academic faculty and staff for testing and sign-off of audit changes.
• Collaborate with academic advisors and IT for the implementation and optimization of Degree Works.
• Assist with updating Degree Works for new catalog requirements.
• Create and maintain information on the Office of the Registrar's website.
• Prepare training manuals and conduct training sessions for faculty and staff.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system problems concerning degree audits.
• Design and maintain reports using Argos and other reporting tools.
• Serve as a liaison between functional users and IT technical team.
